About
Jessica Bennett Kincaid is a curator and writer based in Louisville, Kentucky. She currently manages the permanent collection for 21c Museum. She was previously the coordinator of collections and exhibitions at the University of Louisville Hite Art Institute, where she also served as a lecturer in art history. Exhibitions include All of Bob Lockhart, a component of a multi-part Bob Lockhart retrospective at PUBLIC gallery; Resonant Disclosures at the Cressman Center for Visual Arts; SEEN/UNSEEN: Perspectives on Perception, a co-curated exhibition at the Hite Art Institute as part of the 2017 Louisville Photo Biennial; and most recently, Project 20: Failure in Progress at Zephyr Gallery. Kincaid earned her MA in Critical and Curatorial Studies from the University of Louisville and has served as a guest curator at the Frazier History Museum and Louisville Visual Art. She is also the recipient of multiple Great Meadows Foundation grants.
